Students will have a great time building and discovering, while at the same time learning concepts in science, technology, language arts and engineering. AMAZING ROBOT ANIMALS

Amazing lego robot Animals! A sure fire inspiring way for your child to learn robotics and life science concepts, all in one camp. This camp theme focuses on teaching students about animals and organisms while they build cool lego robot models and learn programming using a graphical interface. Students work in pairs while building lego robot models related to life sciences themes, and also work on creative open ended projects during the week. Students learn to program and control the lego robot using a graphical interface (WeDo 2.0), while they work on lessons that introduce S.T.E.A.M concepts. This Minecraft camp for ages 6-8 retains the magic of the very popular Minecraft video game, while adding elements to it that facilitate learning concepts in S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Language Arts, Math). This Hands-on program from Science Cosmos enables students to work as young scientists and engineers, helping them to investigate and understand the operation of simple and compound machines found in everyday life. They learn various concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM). The camp provides an enjoyable yet challenging lessons in which students can develop skills such as creative problem-solving, communication of ideas, and teamwork. The activities lead students to make initial use of scientific method through observation, reasoning, prediction, and critical thinking. students build models covering the concepts related to various simple machines.

Medieval Battle Physics
Get your Medieval gear on for battle! In this camp, participants experience the thrill of flinging projectiles from medieval machines such as trebuchets and catapults, while the lessons focus on learning scientific principles related to height, velocity and distance. Students can alter characteristics of the Medieval siege machines to test different variables. They see in action, concepts such as levers, inertia, counterweights, torsion and friction. They get an understanding of projectile motion, Newton’s Laws of Motion and potential and kinetic energy. Medieval costume is not required, but welcome!

Rocket Science

This awesome camp zooms into the fantastic world of rockets! Students have a great time launching indoor rockets.They learn about the physics behind rocketry and learn to collect and analyze data and do experiments with different variables.Various principles in rocket physics are covered while students have a fun time ‘Blasting off.
MATH BLASTERS

How about learning math by building cool models? Math Blasters is a hands-on course by Science Cosmos that teaches mathematical problem solving in fun way. Mathematics problems can be a difficult concept for young children to grasp, where they struggle to hold on to abstract thoughts when making their way through the problem solving process. Students build and explore geometry concepts, vocabulary, and structures in 2-D and 3-D. The hands on projects teach Math concepts in a experiential way, laying the foundation for higher mathematical learning. The students live in a 3-D world, so it makes sense for them to connect with geometry on a 3-D level. Even some of the 2-D concepts are best understood when they are held and manipulated. Students build models using math manipulative and learn concepts ranging from Geometric Shapes to Fractions is a Fun way. This innovative course utilizes Knex elements as the tool that makes abstract math tangible.

Under Water Robotic Adventure

Dare to be the next Jacques Cousteau or James Cameron? Imagine exploring the depth of the ocean in a robotic Bathyscaphe. In this robotics camp from Science Cosmos, campers learn how to build underwaterthemed robots incorporating various sensors and motors on the WeDo platform. Students learn a drag and drop programming interface and program the robots that they built to perform various actions. Students are in an enjoyable yet challenging classroom environment in which students develop skills such as creative problemsolving, creativity, and critical thinking. FULL DAY AND EXTENDED CARE

Full Day Camps
Some locations offer both full day and half day camp options. In addition to the fun themes in our half day camps, kids participating in the full day camps experience fun extend activities to supplement their hands on STEAM education. Students will be involved in Age appropriate enrichment activities, games, and science learning. Did we say NO video games allowed! Full day camp participants should bring packed lunch and snacks that is necessary for the whole day. (Check your local center for availability)

Customers ask Us “What will My child be doing in the Camps?” Well, You have come to the right place for answers.
The day starts out with a FUN filled morning where your child builds a model with Legos or other materials. If its a Game programming or Digital arts Camp, the projects will be done on a PC. In the process they learn concepts in Science and engineering.
YOU have a Choice to pick from our list of FUN & ENGAGING themes for your child OR, you can let Us choose one for you. Kids have so much fun with ALL our camp themes, that they want to keep coming back!
The camps section of our website gives a description of many of the themes offered, including Amazing Robot Animals, Medieval Battle Physics, Space Robots, Lego Science & Math Smart, Arts Cosmos, Minecraft and more. Additional themes that are not listed may be available at your local center.
After completing the assigned building project and lesson progression in the morning, the Full day / PM campers continue on to the afternoon session. The format is slightly different form 'Full-Day' camp students v/s those enrolled for 'AM+PM Half day' Camps. Students enjoy a lunch break, where we provide a nut free snack and bottled water. We suggest that you pack some lunch as this may not be enough for your child. The kids are then ready to get started with the afternoon activities.
Remember to pick up on time, You can arrange for extended care, if its available at your camp location.
