After School Program at the Ellicott City Branch

Science Cosmos at Ellicott City, gives you the option of after-school care, where we arrange for pickup from your school and transport to our center. A structured after-school daily program is offered, where the Kids are engaged and kept busy with activities. We offer a nut free snack. When Parents can enroll kids for our after-school they not only get care and homework help but also structured enrichment five days a week. Popular classes like STEAM-ing gaming, Math enrichment, Arts, STEM competition and General knowledge are offered. Children discover the world of science and technology while they learn STEAM based concepts.  

Enrollment to the After-School Program can be 3 to 5 days a week. You can also opt for an additional enrichment class for your child, into our high demand Lego STEM / Robotics, which is offered separately from the afterschool curriculum.

A typical After-School day for your child is divided in “Zones”

• Arrival Zone – Children are picked up from school and arrive and settle-in with a snack & drink offered by us, or they may bring their own.

• Homework Zone – Our staff will help the student review their homework, and make sure that its gets done.

• Enrichment Zone – Specialized Enrichment programs are conducted daily Monday to Friday, and are INCLUDED with your After-school membership. Math, STEAM-ing Gaming, Arts , STEM Competition and General Knowledge.

• Chill Zone – Kids also are given an opportunity for downtime, with reading, games or spending time in our supervised computer center.

  Fitness Zone – We also emphasize fitness at our indoor play area. Kids get active with a daily dose of fitness with activities like Aerobics, Wii Workout, Kids Yoga

Science Cosmos focuses on Childrens STEM and STEAM enrichment classes to prepare Kids for future Success.
